J.T. Perrine is the Director of Instruction and co-owner of Fairhope Golf Works, where he specializes in golf instruction through the lens of ball flight, club delivery, and biomechanics. A lifelong student of the game, J.T. has spent more than a decade working in the golf industry after turning professional in 2013, combining his passion for playing, coaching, and performance analysis into a modern, technology-driven approach to instruction.

Over the years, J.T. has had the opportunity to learn from and exchange ideas with high-level players, instructors, and industry leaders across the game. His experience includes time spent around elite collegiate players, accomplished amateurs, professional golfers, nationally recognized teachers, and some of the most respected minds in instruction and club performance. Those experiences have helped shape a coaching philosophy that is both deeply informed and highly practical.

J.T.’s teaching is built around understanding why the golf ball does what it does. Using tools such as TrackMan, GEARS 3D motion capture, and force-plate technology, he helps players connect body movement, club delivery, and ball flight in a way that is clear, objective, and actionable. While his work is grounded in factual data and biomechanics, his goal is always to make improvement understandable and usable for the player in front of him.

He is TPI Level 3 Certified, Trackman Level 1 and Level 2 Certified, and was voted Best Private Sports Instructor in Baldwin County in both 2025 and 2026.

His approach blends fundamentals, motion, pattern recognition, and performance-based coaching with an appreciation for each golfer’s individual tendencies, abilities, and goals. J.T. works with players of all skill levels, from beginners learning the game to serious golfers looking for a deeper understanding of their swing and a more efficient path to better performance.

As co-owner of Fairhope Golf Works, J.T. partnered with Avery Reed to create a dedicated game-improvement environment for golfers in Lower Alabama—one built around world-class technology, expert guidance, and a genuine passion for helping players improve.
